Leading Breakthroughs at Work

How to turn goals into results

For Team Leaders and Business Unit Managers

A unique combination of experiences which will examine how well your leadership behaviour and philosophy is enabling you to be true to both your own and your team’s ambitions.

Objectives

To build and reinforce an authentic approach to leadership in the context of the business results expected, aspirations, strengths and limitations of you and your team.

Participant Profile:

Leaders who:

  • Are responsible for continuously delivering improved business results, or
  • Are leading teams through change or transformation, or
  • Need to take a comprehensive review of their own philosophy and capabilities towards leading themselves and others.

During ‘Leading Breakthroughs at Work’ you will discover:

  • The degree to which your leadership style aligns with your organisation’s business expectations.
  • What your team think of your leadership style, and what you may have to do about it.
  • How to maximize performance through generating genuine relationships.
  • How to help those you lead dovetail their personal agendas with the business agenda.
  • How effective your team is, and where you may need to take action.
  • How to get into the habit of looking for the positive intentions when individuals in your team object to change.
  • How to learn to modify your thinking style to increase your ability to build relationships of trust and influence.
  • How to develop an integrated stakeholder management plan.

“For leaders to be successful, they must be admired, and we admire them because they serve the task or common purpose of the organisation. Such people have a quality of ‘authenticity’ – those around them experience them as ‘real’.”
